I keep my eyes on the rearview mirror as I speed across the Australian outback. Most of the pursuing vehicles are burning wreckage fading into the distance, but two are still on my tail. A crossbow bolt shatters my rear windshield, and I give the engine a little more gas. A shotgun blast takes out both my side windows as the truck passes, filling my lap with broken glass. One of the crewmen falls out and lands on my hood. He wedges his left hand next to the windshield and reaches for a weapon behind him. The truck wobbles, but stays on the road.

The magazine is currently edited by Andromeda Spaceways Publishing Incorporated and is published quarterly. The first issue of Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine was released in June as a slightly larger than digest size print magazine. Although the publishers of ASIM continued to offer it as a print magazine, in April they began releasing an electronic PDF version of the magazine beginning with issue There are a total of three anthologies in the series; one for science fiction, one for fantasy and one for horror. As of issue 54 eBook versions also became available.
